Sponsor Cody: auction terms

This is an auction for one month of sponsorship: Cody Plofker will add the winning company's badge to his X profile as an affiliate, plus mentions from Cody. The profile preview illustrates the placement; it is not a current sponsor.

The opening bid is $500 USD. Each later bid must be at least $10 higher than the leading bid. Cody starts the auction when he is ready to post the link. Bidding closes exactly 48 hours after that start. The highest accepted bid before the deadline wins. The database's clock and confirmed bid records determine whether a bid arrived before closing. A bid is accepted only when the app confirms it; a failed or pending submission is not a confirmed bid.

Bidders must use a verified company email that matches the company website they provide. Personal Gmail accounts cannot bid. Email verification confirms access to that domain, not authority to represent a company. By placing a bid, you confirm that you are authorized to bid for your company. If you win, Cody will contact you to arrange payment and the sponsorship details.

The app does not collect payments. Cody and the winning company arrange payment separately. Company names and accepted bids are public. Email addresses are not part of the public bid history. The auction's privacy policy explains how account information is used.
